I know you enjoyed running with me through San Diego…but Napa this is a whole new ballgame! Have you ever been to a 5K where everyone was dressed the same? Been chauffeured to your race in a brand new hybrid? Run through a vineyard? Been served amazing wine afterwards?

Me neither until this weekend…

Taking a moment to act as Vanna White for our wonderful Toyota. As you can see we were all sporting our Oakley gear and new Asics Gel Nimbus…many of us were green eyed monsters that didn’t get the pink pair. Sorry only sold in Brazil!

I think for a runner there is no greater experience than getting to see somewhere new. This run with 100 other inspiring women, truly through a vineyard in Napa was incredible. I certainly was not concerned with my time, as I wanted to soak up every moment.

The next morning I headed out for a solo 8 miles. I just wanted to take in as much of the area as I could from my favorite view point…my feet!

Ok so there was one pit stop during my run because I just need some kind of picture out there…these don’t do the scenery justice.

More details to come about the entire Oakley Women’s Retreat…it was phenomenal, but for now I’m just getting back in to the swing!

What is the best place you have ever run? Have you ever done an all women’s race?

I’ve run over 28,000 miles in my own running journey since 2002. Run To The Finish is my place to share that love and my deep dive in to researching all things running. I hold multiple run coaching certifications, as well as a personal training certification. But it’s my ongoing desire to learn and progress as a coach that has allowed me to help runners from their 20’s through their 70’s! More ways to connect with me:

Wow, that's amazing! I dream of running the Ragnar Relay in Napa Valley. I imagine it to be beautiful!I've never done an all-women race, but I think my favorite place to run was in Minnesota for the Ragnar Great River. Lots of countryside, very peaceful.

Sounds like a great run! Can't wait to hear more about the weekend. I was just in Napa a few weeks ago and there is no better way to see it than by foot (or bike!)

Hi there!I would say the best place I've run has been (other than my own Girona) Canovelles/Granollers which were great for views and organization. Loved the waterfront in Barcelona (after exams) too!Women's race… yep! Did the women's triathlon in Barcelona, the run/race for the cure in Barcelona too, then a women's 5k in Lloret and the women's race here in Girona. Would love to run an all women marathon but none are available here so unless I come up on the lottery and get to come to the US I guess that'll have to wait ;)
