That’s right friends this show is going on the road!!!! The Run To The Finish Book Tour is taking shape and I can’t wait to meet so many more of you in person and strengthen this community.

I started this website in 2007 because I wanted a connection to more runners. I no idea just how much I’d get to know so many of you over the years. Shoot this platform is why I had friends before moving to Denver!

My goal is to ensure that this isn’t me showing up with a book and reading pages to you, but rather creating an event and an experience for us to connect! Together we rise!Atlanta Book Tour

Here’s our crew in Atlanta post run and chat!

Podcasts about Run To The Finish

Can’t make it to a tour stop, well I GET that even if I’m crying on the inside. Here’s another chance to connect.

You know I love to talk running, so it’s been a blast to chat with a number of podcasts over the last few months. And because you don’t want to hear the same thing over and over, we touched on a wide variety of topics!

  • Rambling Runner – What is it like to write a book and why?!!
  • Running on Optimism – Tons of talk about my philosophy on running and coaching
  • Diz Runs – How to come back from injury, handling the comparison game and more
  • Run Smarter – How to LOVE the run you’ve got
  • Fitnessista – Discussion of tips for new runners
  • The Run Duo – Breaking down fitness myths
  • Running 4 Real with Tina Muir – Deep dive in to the real side of running and writing
  • Mile After Mile – My love of travel running and what Middle of the Pack means to me
  • Live Run Travel – Talking through running while we travel and more on how my story evolved
  • Ron Runs NYC – One of the more open chats I’ve had, great discussion.

Where Will the Book Tour Go?

I have gotten so many great messages on where you’d like me to go and man I WISH I could just hit every city, but it’s takes an insane amount of work to get a location, pay for the flights, hotels and sweet talk brands in to giving you some goodies for showing up.

Which is to say, harder than just going out for a run!

Each City is Different
You’ll see on the event registration pages that every city has a few different pieces. In LA, I’ll be doing a Live Podcast, in NYC we’ll be doing a workshop with PT’s on pre-hab…there are giveaways and sponsors and well generally just different variations of awesome.

Group Run
I know that group runs are intimidating. LEGIT I have skipped many worrying about being too slow or just timing. Which is why these are designed for all ages, all paces, all runners, run walkers, walkers, crawlers, whatever.

They’ll be 30 minutes, often on an out and back so that we can start and finish together.

Giveaways
Once you’ve registered make sure that amanda @ runtothefinish.com is on your safe sender list because I’ll be doing special giveaways for those who have pre-ordered the book or who register for an event with a book. But I gotta have your email to include you and then you gotta respond!

A couple coming up:

  • Nathan Hydration Vest
  • Aftershokz
  • Goodr sunglasses
  • On Running Shoes

Find the FULL LINE UP of cities and how to register on the book tour page! Click your city for the details and sign up.

This schedule is tentative, what is on the tour page is accurate.

Support Team

As noted, I want this to be SPECIAL and not break my own bank, so thankfully some great brands have stepped in to help make these events happen.

Nutrient Testing
I’m super excited to be extending my partnership with Baze, which offers at home testing for us to find out which key nutrients we might be low in. I was sooo deficient in Omega 3 that even with 6 months of supplements I’m just starting to work towards normal and that’s of course going to impact running!

They’ll be providing some fun swag at every stop and some giveaways along the way as well.

Relay Fun
Meanwhile, my long time friends at Ragnar will also be doing some very cool things for the first 10 people to register in select cities. Definitely check out the details on your city to see if they’ll be there. One of the book events will take place in Salt Lake City the day before I test out their new event called Ragnar Sunset!

Feed Us
Next up a huge shout out to Once Again Nut Butter. Not only has it been the joy in my life for years, but they’ve backed and supported Run To The Finish since it was a tiny little baby of a growing brand.

Core Power has become a consistent part of my recent training and I’m super excited to have them at a number of events. You’ll love this protein packed lactose friend recovery drink (low carbs and sugars, wohoo).

And to my new Colorado friends at Bobo’s who are sending their yummy bites to each location, ensuring that after that exhaustive 30 minute run :) we have the delicious refuel we need.

Ready to meet some new running friends who aren't so worried about pace? Checkout these US events! #runchat #werunsocial Share on X

Gear Buddies
And it doesn’t stop there, as I’m still filling in the details with a number of our gear happy friends. For example, Swiftwick will be providing the first 10 people to register in one city with their new socks (which I can 100% say are so silky and wonderful I want to wear them for every run).

FRIENDS
One of the other things I have realized is none of this is possible without help from friends. The friends who tell me that I’m not crazy, the friends who tell me that even if I reach one runner I’ve changed a life, the friends who can’t wait to come to the event in their city.

But even more so are the folks who have stepped up to help me with some organization in each city. Oh yes, the pulling together all all those great gear pieces from brands or pointing me to a great running store or even helping me figure out the area. THANK YOU.

Have questions, feel free to drop them below! Otherwise I hope to meet you in person soon!

I am a running coach with over a decade of experience helping thousands of runners to achieve their goals from running injury free to crossing that marathon finish line with a PR. I’ve run over 28,000 miles in my own running journey since 2002. Run To The Finish is my place to share that love and my deep dive in to researching all things running. I hold multiple run coaching certifications, as well as a personal training certification. But it’s my ongoing desire to learn and progress as a coach that has allowed me to help runners from their 20’s through their 70’s! More ways to connect with me:

that’s so exciting!!! there is nothing like the experience of that first. My biggest advice is just take it 1 training run at a time.
